Amperite RA-L

The example in our collection is marked RA-L.

An identical looking model appears in the Radiolek catalogue in 1936, but called the RB. However, by 1939 it appears in an advertisement as the RA-L.

From a contemporary advertisement in Radio Masters Handbok, 1939:

Truly outstanding in performance, this Velocity is excellent for both speech and music. Eliminates feedback. Has a frequency range of 60 to 7500 cps. Output. - 68 dB

Unaffected by temperature, pressure, or humidity. Unusually rugged. Triple shielded, and fitted with heavy shock absorber and swivel bracket. Shipping weight 5 Ibs.
