Technical Description:
From Wireless World, July 1954 page 313
"The inexpensive Mic 36 series of crystal micro- phones introduced by Cosmocord (Acos) are of attractive appearance and can be adapted for stand or desk mounting. They have an omni -directional response substantially flat from 30 to 7,000 Hz with a sensitivity of -55db referred to 1 volt /dyne /cm2."
Another ad appears in Practical Wireless in August 1956, page 370:
"The ACOS MIC 36 crystal microphone performs as well as it looks. It is omnidirectional, highly sensitive, and has a substantially flat response from 30 to 7,000 Hz. It retails at £3.3.0 without switch or £3.8.0 with one, and is widely chosen for tape and disc work, P.A. and amateur radio."
Our model appears to be the less expensive model, without the switch.
